I wrote the book because as a leader it has been my lifelong quest to bring the best to our workforce and bring out the best in them. There have been profound discoveries along the way that changed me and changed them that I can now share in a teaching form with other leaders who are searching today for answers to workplaces rife with personal non-cooperation, poor functioning teams and isolated individuals.

In every chapter, I suggest ways to turn anxiety and fear of change in the workplace to a climate of "kindness, mercy, [and] empathy", the kind of support we sometimes experience at home in the heart of our families.  We don't really need to be two different selves for work and for home; we don't need to "suit up" in steely emotional armor each morning for the day ahead.  “Humanity at Work”, in thirty-six letter-essays, shows how to carry that emotional balance across all your days--and how to be grateful for each one of them.
